1. Local-First Processing
REAX is built as a local-first web application. When you drop an MP3, WAV, or image into the editor, the files are decoded directly in your device’s memory using the Web Audio API and HTML5 Canvas. No audio or video data ever leaves your computer or passes through our servers.
2. Local Storage & Autosave
Your project settings, layer configurations, and modifier parameters are stored strictly in your browser’s `localStorage`. You can clear your project data at any time by clearing your browser cache.
3. No Tracking & No Third-Party Cookies
We do not sell user data, nor do we run aggressive third-party advertising trackers or biometric cookies. Your creative work remains completely private.
4. Data Retention & Your Control
Because all data lives in your browser, you control retention. Clearing site data, localStorage, or browser cache removes your projects and settings permanently. We cannot recover data on your behalf since we never receive it.
5. Third-Party Services
REAX does not embed third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels. External links (GitHub, LinkedIn, LeetCode) open in a new tab and are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies.
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data at all times. Since no personal data is collected or stored server-side, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from us. For questions, contact the owner below.
7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect product changes. The effective date at the top will be revised. Continued use of REAX after changes constitutes acceptance.
